Thought that I should post back to this thread for posterity sake.

I ended up going with a Corsa sport dual side exit system. I have to say that I'm very happy with it. No drone at all, nice quiet sound at low throttle around town driving but it really sounds mean when you open it up.

I chose the sport system after hearing a few touring systems, not alot different than stock. I don't think there is much difference between the sport and the touring until your at WOT, then you can hear the 800 bux hanging under the truck, lol.

good deal man. I bout a 3" DMH e-cutout and re-installed the stock muffler. Very quite and very loud by the flip of the switch. I know my neighbors love me know, lol.

 

Our parts truck at work is an 07 and its got the GMPP intake and exhaust- its really deep and quiet it sounds good. Not loud enough for my taste though but its a good sound
