LCA vs Spindle
#1
Well I have been driving my 07 nnbs for a while now and I just cant stand it. Its too damn tall.
Everything I have ever owned has been lowered. My 01 had a 4/6 DJM on it. I ran it for close to 4 years adding 70k with no probs.
I see most are using a spindle for the 07+ trucks. Why not a LCA? Are there fittment issues on the 07+? I want to go with the 4/7 on the new truck and it is my DD.
I tow a boat daily. Do we c-notch the new ones or go with a bag kit?
Lets hear it............
Thanks, Matt

Well you can't go wrong with any of the kits at a 4/7. It seems to be a crap shoot if people have problems. I personally have a DJM upper and lowers in the front for a 4 inch drop. A McCaughy's flip kit in the rear with helper bags for towing my boat. You can go either way... a notch or bags. I went with bags to give me assurance when towing and if I needed to return my truck to stock for any reason, they are bolt on. I like my DJM control arms up front. Some people have alignment issues going with spindles.

Thats what I figured on the bags. I may just go with the best price I can find for either kit. But I did kinda want to stay away from using front drop springs. I have never been a fan of them.
