Default knock retard while cruising

I have an 2007 Yukon Denali and I used my torque app to see what truck was doing since I haven't played around with the app in a while. I have stock tune on it. With ac on while cruising I was getting knock the whole time on the five mile trip ranging from 0.1 up to 4.7 degrees while cruising. Is this normal? Iat was 97 degrees on the highway. Temp outside is 91 degrees. When going up hills is knock retard normal on these trucks that much? Even when on flat roads with the AC on? even with ac off same thing. now ive added vararam tri power intake and its even worse now. i have new injectors and new spark plugs and wires all acdelco. fuel pressure koeo 50lbs and koer 60 lbs. i dont know what cruising pressure is because i dont have a gauge that reaches that far to see

If you feel the knock sensors are overly sensitive you could try reducing the burst knock to none and raising the knock sensor level tables slightly. I see it alot on cars where with decent mods are done and it could be the cause of false knock.

In this case it surely can't be real knock at just cruising speeds with low load. Not sure why they'd be picking up anything. I'd try making them less sensitive as a start to see if it does anything.

ok i found out this is a canadian made yukon denali. i dont even have the denali cluster. vehicle is kinda rusted under it. but not severely. just mildly. you think rust could be in between the knock sensor and the block. oh and bad news. i did another log and pulled timing in the area where it was kr and now i have no knock. i did modify burst knock retard vs cylinder air delta to three degrees in v8 mode as well. i dont know if that had anything to do with it also in addition to decreasing timing` in the affected areas. i just hope this engine isnt about to kick the bucket. ive had it for almost two years now. vitals still good aside from the continuous kr at cruising. this is same result before and after vararam.
