Katzkin makes several grades (softness) of leather per vehicle application kit... ~$100-200 extra per grade I think.

Leather for my '10 Silverado RCSB, from Katzkin, was $750 for the kit and $250 for install. It's just the Katzkinbase leather, still nicer than OEM leather though

Does katzkin send out little swaths of clothe for you to decide what grade of leather you want? These katzkin kits look really good, I think that's the way to go. They're not that hard to install. I've read if you lay them out in the sun for a little bit they slide on much easier. I rode in a 2012 lml this weekend and was unwhelmed with the feel of the seats.

If new oem seat pads can be had for a decent price I think that would be a good investment too, just don't have a clue where you'd get them.

There is a seller on ebay that has Katzkin GM crew cab leather seat sets for $575 shipped. I've seen some feedback on other forums and the people that have bought have been pleased with them. I've been considering these for my truck, but have yet to pull the trigger.

I want real luxury seats that I hav to condition every day lol.
