Default It's HERE!

Thanks in large part to all the info I got from your experiences helping me make up my mind what to buy, my new truck showed up and I drove it home yesterday. YAY!

Silver/ebony 2011 Silverado LTZ ecsb 4x4, 6.2 with Max Trailering and LTZ Plus.

Sweetie and I put 90 miles on it yesterday and it's nice. I'm gonna drive it like an old man (wait ... I AM an old man!) for a little while, but even driving easy it feels eager and strong. Quite a difference from my 270 hp '99 5.3!

Now I gotta start dressing it up ... (and yes I will replace the sig pic of Ol Horrible soon as I can!)

You're going to love it, I have barely put 150 miles on mine so far but it is a huge upgrade from my '09 when it comes to power and braking. The entire drivetrain is so much better.

Dammit you guys !!!!!

I'm trying to hold out for the 2013 NNNBS pickups. All this banter about how much nicer your 2011s are than your '07s, '08s, and '09s is testing my will power, LOL!

It wouldn't be the same for you since your '08 is a Denali with the the 6.2/6L80E combo. I couldn't get that in '09 and it always bugged me.

'09-5.3 (DOD but no VVT like now) w/4L60E and 8.5" 10 bolt and drums in the back

'11-6.2 (VVT but no DOD, YES!) w/6L80E and 9.5" 14 bolt and disc brakes

Welcome to the club still lovin mine, and pushin 1800 miles now. Took it out into the desert and played for a few hours the other night; it was a RIOT. After about a dozen donuts in each direction we went for a few hour drive cross country before we started driving in a soft, sandy wash. It did great, and the wife and our friends in the back enjoyed the trip as much as I did.
