My 6.2 has at least one exhaust manifold bolt head broken off. Where should I get some new bolts for my OBX headers I'm getting ready to put on.

Napa sells a new bolt kit, they are like grade 8 bolts I think.

I used them, because I didnt want to buy studs and was cheap.

 

Do you by any chance have that part number?

 

I started the same thread over on Gmfullsive.com and got a bunch of information on it, Here is what some of those guys said.


Factory gm studs and nuts. The nut has a oval shaped opening for locking purposes. Really nice stud kit for the price and its factory. I found out about them on a forum somewhere.I think they were originally on some v6 models, but there now sold as Chevrolet performance.

I called my local dealer and got all 8 the next day for around $40. still tight, not overpriced, and good insurance over bolts.
