Default Highway Vibration

Guessing my truck has a bad tire or a bad balance. Ive only put 20 miles on it and it has the steering wheels shakes between 68-72 mph. Not exactly happy about that. Already bitched to the salesmen, hopefully they can take care of it quickly tomorrow. This isn't a common problem is it? The trucks an 08, it hasn't been on the lot very long.

Mine has been back in 5 times. Still not resolved.... But my wheels and tires are probably better balanced than any other truck on the road.

Had to instruct them on changing the pinion angle which helped a bunch but didn't resolve it.

Mine is a ECSB what body style is yours?

I have a Crew Cab, guess I need to update the sig. I plan on putting different wheels on the truck soon, so I want to get this resolved before then. Sure hope it doesn't take me 5 trips.

I'm having a shake in the steering wheel. I don't think pinion angle would affect my problem?

Dealer replaced both front tires, problem gone. Said they wouldn't pass the road force test. Glad I can blame this on Mr Goodyear rather than the General

They have been having problems with those tires for years, the goodyear GTII's have a tendency to hydroplane too.

GM has replaced all 4 tires. And I don't have much vibration through the steering wheel. But at specific speeds it starts to shake.. I told them it really needed a 6L90 to fix the vibration
