Higher stall with stock 6.2
Has anyone swapped their stock converter for a higher stall unit? I have a 2013 with a 6.2 and was curious if a higher stall would knock any time off my 0-60. I am getting ready to add an airaid mit and get a tune. Also, does the tune need done after a converter swap?

You should talk about your needs and goals with chris at circle d specialties.
I daily a 3000 stall and it was one of my first mods other then a tune. And yes you'll need a tune after thw swap

Thanks for the input guys. My plans for the truck are headers, tune, airaid mit and converter. Later on it may see a 100 shot. My biggest concern is when it's got a trailer hooked to it and if i'm going to get it too hot towing. The truck seems like a converter would wake it up a little.
