Yup. We use a modified(extended) factory bolt.

pipe wrench on pulley...breaker bar on bolt and turn hard it will come out..i use a jack handle for breaker

Sounds like its going to come back out I would get a stock replacement and put back in, just check your threads, double check everything I do know after reading everybodys hrror stories and on my own f ups

be sure and chase the threads with a tap before threading another bolt into the crank snout

yea tensile strength and torsional strength arent the same.

On what? lol It's like a 200,000 psi hardened bolt. You would have to be a helluva man with a 10 ft+ breaker bar to snap one of those bolts.
