help!!!

I've searched high and low for a tach signal behind the cluster and can not find anything on colors or pin number. Does anyone have all data or a schematic they could help me out with?

Your tach wire is going to be the white one on the back of your gauge cluster!

Everything I have looked at referenced a white wire on the back of the gauge cluster as the tach wire? Oh well, if you have a meter tester you can try this:
The thing to do is to test the signal wire first. Remove the gauge cluster and use a voltmeter to check signal on white wire. Connect black meter lead to ground and red meter lead to white wire and start the engine. Set meter to AC volts scale. Voltage should be fairly low and should increase when the engine rpm is increased.

Ill check with my buddy at the chevrolet dealership tomorrow and get you a wire pinout sheet for your gauge cluster.

Okay I texted him and he said it should either be a pink and white wire or pink and black wire. You can test it with a meter if you have one, just to be sure. He also told me the white wire was for the older models.
Hope this helps
