Hate to bump and old thread, but I have a related question. I actually used the pictures and info from this post to remove my front bumper on my 2009 silverado. I got it off, replaced my damaged parts and am putting it back together. I had asked my wife to snap a few pics of it once I had removed the old one to give me a reference for where the bolts all go. Umm her pics weren't the best, but I thought I had a good grasp on it. I know where the 6 bigger 15mm(?) bolts go to hold the 2 metal side pieces to the main chrome piece. And lots of other 10mm bolts to hold it all together. But there are 4 10mm bolts but with bigger washers than all the rest of the 10mm bolts. I'm not sure where they go. I assumed they probably went on the end caps, but I checked and those holes appears to have a pretty good wear pattern that fits the washer on the smaller 10mm.

So my question is, where do these 4 10mm bolts with bigger washers go? Thanks!

Edit, looks like just posting this may have jogged my memory. I believe those 4 bolts go to the grille, not the bumper.
