It has nothing to do with Obama. GM doesn't have the money to tool their factories to make the engines.

Dealers are such BS artists, I asked a salesman about them when my dad bought his 08 and he was like "oh yeah man I drove one to another dealer down in south florida those trucks are sweet gonna be out in a few months" what a douche.

True but there is a government appointed committee looking over GM's shoulders and giving a "guiding hand"...from some of the articles I have read they aren't car enthusiasts either. In a way the government is influencing decisions...there is even a rumour out there GM might drop the GMC brand too, which would be a mistake IMHO (it makes money!).

Rick Wagoner was fired by Obama because he refused to scrap GMC. The U.S. government now holds 51% of the voting stock in GM and will appoint the board of directors. This administration has openly stated that they are going to direct GM to build the type of vehicles that America needs. So yeah, it has everything to do with Hussein Obama.

 

Damn, that's an impressive number. Is it the original drivetrain, or parts and pieces have been repalced?

I DO NOT understand the reasoning behine not putting the 6l80 into a rc truck. I would have gotten a 6speed without question over my 4l60 which i prey every day isint going to puke on my way to work.

He is not benefiting at all from this, not one bit. On the contrary, if he could he would wash his hands free of this whole mess because it's a lose lose situation for him. Who this is benefiting is US as consumers. Without Obama/government intervening then there would be no GM anymore...and without that we would be left without all our favorite cars and trucks.
