Default Headers w/3 cats

Who here has a set of headers installed that retains the 3 cats that are on the 2012-2013 trucks?

Looking to get some ideas on how to do this.

My question is why would you want 3 cats? The more cats the more power you lose. Would you consider 2 high flow cats? I'm sure you have a reason to want 3.

It's illegal to remove them?

You just need two good quality high flow cats.

Here in the Portland OR area I'd get busted as soon as the DEQ plugged their computer into my OBD port - it's a required test in order to renew license every two years, for any vehicle newer than 1975. Not sure about your state laws.

Is the third cat even a cat, or a resonator? I've looked at mine, but doesn't seem to be and o2 sensors reading the 3rd. I'm going to be doing my exhaust soon and have considered cutting it off.

That "3rd" cat in the y-pipe is just a resonator, if he's talking about the one just after the 2 pipes become 1

My understanding is that it is a catalytic converter and not a resonator.

The second pic of the 3 is actually the third cat I'm talking about.

Not if they are getting replaced with Highflow cats, also the 3rd is not a cat well my 2011 Denali had 2 with a 3rd look alike which was a resonator
