That out of the way, I made a new thread for a specific question about volume. I currently have a Magnaflow 5x11x22 oval body and it's too damn quiet. Was going to switch it out with an 18" but they don't offer it in 3.5" i/o.

What would be comparable in volume? Want loud but not earth shattering. Thanks, and flame on.

Is it possible to cut and weld these?

Eta: The current one is center/offset. Not sure if I would be able to line up the tube inside.

 

I put a 3.5 borla sportsman on mine after having the same complaint as you about the magnaflow. It's louder and sounds nice has a great tone to it.

 

I like quiet exhaust, got enough reasons to get pulled over dont need a loud exhaust to give em a heads up.

I put magnaflow on mine when truck had 2 miles on it and was disappointed with it instantly it was only slightly louder than stock. borla sounds really nice and not lou.d at all and has a great tone to it

Remembered I finally bought speakers for the laptop so played on you tube. Ordered the borla xr-1 16x4.5x7.88. Should be a good bit louder.
