Default hand held tuner? Which is best?

I'm not much on computers nor do I have a laptop now. Which hand held tuner is worth buying? I'm assuming from reading that buying the software and tuning it yourself is much better? Some input please.

A mail order tune is better by far than any handheld, and if you learn how to tune yourself even better.

+1 for what trever1t said. Go with a custom tune. Handhelds are a waste of money.

Knowing what personal or laptop tune is capable of.....hand held is a waste of money. The options on the hand held are factory set, where as the laptop there's more variable to work with.
