not to hijack but man love your truck reminds me of my old 2000 clean clean clean, simple, and not flashy but with a stout motor. except mine was white.

as far as the bumpers i plan to color match mine if people would stop running into the damn thing. i will prob go with a etching primer since i will have it done when it is in the shop being fixed.

Yeah it's just an accessory, the dealer puts them on their LTZ models out on the lot quite often, but the bumper he was asking about me saying it was sand-blasted and painted had nothing to do with the LTZ part about the grille you have a regular cab and so do i, LTZ is not an option for us so the bumper was painted and yes the front bumper is painted on the LTZ but not the rear. We can get technical but it doesn't matter everything was painted on my truck in april of 2007 a week after I bought it chrome is gay

I have a LTZ and the grill is not painted it is chrome and i like the way it looks with my blue on the truck

I took off my chrome grille, sanded, painted, wet sanded, then applied two more coats as well as a clear coat. To be honest, it came out great.
