Default 2/4 drop kit

Anyone have one on their truck? I'm wanting my truck to sit just a little lower, and be level. I found a kit with new front springs and a hanger/flip kit for the back for about 300. I'll eventually buy some 20" factory wheels but for now I was just wanting to keep the stock 17's so anything with new spindels is out for now.

I would like to go 2 inches lower all around too. I have 2" shackles and took out the block for about 3". Has any one used 2" leafs, shackles and pulled out the block for a total of 5"? I really don't want to mess with hangers or a flip kit. Considering Belltech lowering shocks for the front.

You could cut you front springs and have your rear springs re-arched for the proper drop. I am thinking when I do my 5-7 drop I'm going to do the following. After I re-furbish my new house, should close late next week.

McGaugh's spindles
Eibach springs
re-arch leaf springs.
Drop Shackle.
Weld on new spring perches for a proper flip.
Weld on cross tube to the frame for a quad shock rear end.

Now you can substitute a drop block for re-arching and drop shackle, but if you try to drag race you'll have a burnout machine due to the rotational forces with the blocks. Or you can use blocks to trim the ride height becouse all mod's don't add up the way there supposed too. This way if your 1/2 off you can get blocks to get it just right. Usually a 1 inch block does little to the handeling if you have good shocks. Anything over 2 inchs especially can make the truck handle odd when you drive hard or drag race. You will never know they are there in NORMAL driving.

I did the 2/4(spindles / leaf packs), but with the VMax sitting higher, I could have went more.

i have 2" Belltech Lowering Shocks up front.

In the rear i had 3" GF leafs + removal of block and got about 5.5 inches of drop in the rear. i would suggest leafs for 3" and removing the block if it goes to low then add the block back in.

or if you just want level, then add 2" shackles and take out block, or put in a leveling kit up front.
