Is there a glossary around here to help a newbie with all these terms?

NNBS=new new body style

what is GMT 900?

Any others I should know about?

No one will make fun of you for asking what stuff means...Just simply ask in a thread and someone will be glad to inform you what something is.

We were all newbies at one point in time!

ive seen a ton of dudes bash bc someone doesnt know anything...but i guess theres a reason for it hell i dunno.

the GMT800 is your 99-07 classics
the GMT900 is the 07+ trucks (like the one you own)
NNBS is the pointless remark to things imo, so is NBS. but almost everyone knows the years by nnbs or nbs.

yeah I even dont know all the freakin terms yet and I've been around forums since 05......

As for the NNBS....Theres 00BS (pre-89) OBS (89-98) NBS (99-07-classic) and NNBS what you have.

I wonder what the next term will be. NNNBS?

i call the 80-88 models box body bc they are boxes lol.

itll become a nnbs an my truck will become a nbs just as it did with every other new truck that came out.

Don't feel bad dude!! I been on forums for about 4 to 5 yrs now and it took me forever to catch on........ I wasn't bold enough to ask about them though... I would just deal with it or google it and see what came up....lol

Haha, I did this same thing for a few weeks to learn some of the lingo and I still run across something every now and then I don't know...
