Hey Ive read a few threads on here about swaping a Gen 3 6.0 into a NNBS truck, however they are a few years old with no answers. I have a Gen 3 6.0 that if my machine shop says its good (junk yard motor) I would like to swap it in my NNBS. I can have the shop change the reluctor ring to a 58X. Cam sensor cover and a single bolt cam can be put in I know, but the only thing is what about the knock sensors? Could the Gen 3 sensors be used just tuned for them? Any help would be nice. Thanks

 

you would have to drill and tap the IV gen sensors into the bottom of the block. I'll see if i can find the thread i found a tech.
