Default gas mileage?

Just wondering what people are getting now with more miles on their NNBS. A 5.3L RCSB would be what I would get...but any 5.3 mileage would give me a good idea. I drive mostly highway also.

thanks

the 07 in the sig when i took a trip to houston, all highway, it was only 15mpg
the 33inch mudders really killed the mileage, stock 265's would get me 19 all highway.

Wow I must drive like a grandpa....loaded RCSB, 5.3, 3.73's, factory 20's getting just around 19-20mpg (US gallons) in town, and about 22mpg (US gallons) highway. I think the gears make a big difference in town, we have lots of roads where the speed limit is 80km/hr (50mph) as well and that seems perfect for the AFM...can cruise along at at 7 or 8L/100km for minutes on end (that is over 30mpg!).

On the highway, anything above 65 and it only goes to V4 down hills etc, guessing that is why highway mileage is not so great compared to city.

Get on it hard once or twice and its all out the window. Of course reg cab is pretty light compared to extended or crewcab models as well.

Lots of factors involved too, altitude, how you drive, weather conditions, tire pressures etc.

BTW have 8K on my truck.

I have just under 3k on my 07 Sierra RCSB 2wd 5.3 with AFM, 3.73 and i get about 16mpg. I am gonna be upgrading to some stock 20's so we will have to see how much that makes a difference, it shouldn't be too much of a difference.

i have ~7500 miles on my truck and im averaging 14.2 mpg according to the DIC.... i have a HEAVY right foot..... mostly city driving, but when i get on the highway, i can average around 19 mpg doing 70-75 with the AFM disabled......
according to the options sheet on the truck, i have 3.42 gears, but the tune says 3.73, hmm....? in 4th gear i cruise a consistent 1800 rpm at 70 mph.
