I guess the heavier 14-bolt is nullified by the 6.2s aluminum block vs the 5.3s iron block.

Nice, I've never been there. I'm thinking about getting a baseline there before my next mods go on.
I just moved back up here from California and the differences in weather and elevation should net me a couple tenths.
Was it the friday night fun drags you went to?

Yeah, yesterday. The last two fun drags on the calendar are October 9 and 16, and I'm hoping I can get a tune on it and get it all sorted out in time for one of those.

It's a nice little country drag strip - nothing fancy but everything you need to have a good time. It's only about 1.5 miles off of I-5 so it's really easy to get to.

Welcome back to Oregon!

With an AutoCal and tune from Black Bear. I like their system.

Yeah I have the autocal from blackbear as well. Justin does an awesome job. I got 20 hp from a dyno tune on my old truck that he did.
Currently I have an '07 Tahoe that he street tuned, then I put a small cam in and used the autocal to update.
Your truck will be a beast with a tune installed! Hopefully I can see it run before the seasons over.

Gonzo and Silverado:

I was running Chevron Premium at the track, although I usually run E-85 around town. I'd like to try alcohol at the track one of these days.

I will definitely let you guys know when I'm ready to go back so we can get together!
