Just picked up a 08 v-max and all i can say is WOW! Big difference compared to my 01 silverado. This thing really moves. Its lowered 3 inches all around and has the 6.0. Currently has a custom tune and volant cai. I plan to hit the track this weekend to get some base times before i start the mods. Any suggestions what it might run? Also tomorrow i will be doing a hd conversion and was curious where i can get a black grill? Or what yall do to black out the chrome thats on the top middle of bumper? Will post pics asap!

thanks, its a 2wd. truck has been lowered from previous owner. it doesn't look too low but i noticed when changing the oil today it had the 2 inch drop shackles and it had the rear flip kit already done. front has upper and lower control arms. what would be a good place to buy some long tubes? i have a nitrous kit already and was planning on throwing a 125 shot mean while. Also where is yalls trucks shifting into 3rd at WOT. mine holds 2nd all the way until 105! i freaked out cause of how hard it kicked and i noticed it pulled for a good while after the needle was pegged out past 6000 rpm.
