Looks great, never seen it done flat black before.

I have seen several guys on GMFS paint theres to match. That once piece can be cutout too so you dont have to tape anything. I know one person that taped his and when he peeled the tape off the chrome came off with it.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I went to Wal-Mart and picked up a can of Krylon Fusion spray paint for plastic in satin black. Its supposed to stick to plastic without any sanding or priming. I hope it holds up but we'll see! That red looks awsome too!!

I dunno...that red is a little much for me, but he wanted to mimic the new vettes.

I like yours better with the flat black.

looks bad ***!!! i planned on doing mine EXACTLY like that.... i think i'll scuff mine a bit anyway though just to make sure it sticks good....

but i think im going to use one of those "hot knifes" to do the cutting.

I used a cut off wheel to cut the lense off. I'm kind of a novice at this so I found out the hard way on which direction to cut!! Its COUNTER-clock wise in case you want to know!!!
