Default dynatech pics

finally got em installed
2 hours on hoist and with air tools
headers fit perfect and are works of art.
ypipe/cats had to be modified to clear cross member.
also tubing behind cats to exhaust flange is only 2.5" which doesn't seem right, it expands to 3" at the flange
i am going to speak to dynatech about the fit and the tubing size.

damn, looks good! I did not know they had the for the NNBS 6.0 yet. What did you have to do to the y pipe to make them fit. Did you notice any increase in torque or horsepower.

Better yet, how big of a hole did they burn in your wallet? I REALLY want a set, I just can't afford them right now....

ya, they are pricey but i'm old and you only live once, could get hit by a bus tomorrow.
i did pay well below the posted price for these though, pm me for info if you want

i have not had enough seat time to say how they are gonna work , the roads are slimey now too and will also need to re-tune to take best advantage, but there is an improvement
i will say the exhaust is much louder and it sounds like absolute crap when dod kicks in.
hpt can turn dod off but i would prefer not to.

i didn't modify the headers, i put a small dimple in the top off the xmember for clearance
and had to move the front passenger side o2.

I see that you have the Belltech 2/3 kit on your truck.

Did it affect ride quality? Are you using the stock shocks in the rear?

Default pm me a price on the header setup

Hey man this is Chris. The headers look great and I am very happy for you. You are one of few people to apply this setup so far. I am currently installing a detroit truetrac and 4.10 gears in my truck and I would like to get your price on this exhaust. Im not looking to freeload, it is just nice to get a good deal in the times of economic depression.

Did you use any shims for the pinion angle or shock mount extensions?

I think that I am going to use the same parts that you did.

No shims or extensions, shocks would actually be shorter.
I used 2 " spindles and rear 2 " shackles plus removed rear block for 2-3.
it bottomed out in the rear before i trimmed the bump stop.
truck drives smooth, no vibration, hence no shims.
mine is 2wd , 4x4 my be different.
i would like to lower mine more but I think a flip kit or hanger kit wouild compromise my
tow rating so i will leave it alone.
mine has a tow package so oe ride height was the same as a z71. looked stupid on a 2wd, sits much better now
and handles a bit better, could use a rear sway bar but haven't seen any yet.

good luck...
