very loud,
I had headers and cats, 3.5 inch magnaflow muffler and a resonator. still too loud.
Took it off and put 3 inch magnaflow and resonator and it's not too bad now.

Gains, my truck rips.
no dyno or track times, I don't need to measure how much it rips.

with gains only at 3500 rpm and above and a price tag of 1500 or so i might just get banks torque tubes save 1000$ and call it a day.

I got the Dynatech LT headers with the catted Y on my 5.3. I installed them at the same time as my cam and dyno tune, so I couldn't tell ya what the headers alone will do. To be honest I think these headers are too big for a 5.3, 1-3/4" primaries. I think the 5.3 needs 1-5/8" primaries in stock trim. However I think these 1-3/4" long tubes will show their true potential when I install a supercharger. I like the looks of them and they fit on to my Gibson exhaust perfectly. Plus the Gibson exhaust was a little too quiet before and now with the headers and cam it has a real good sound. Not too loud but a real nice aggressive sound when I hammer on it.
