Drop Decision Time
Well I think i've finally decided on a 2/4 Mcgaughy drop for my 08 rcsb. Starting out conservative at the moment. I'm definately going with 2" spindles up front, but should I go with the shackles-leaf springs combo or the hangers-flip kit combo for the rear? Which is best for ride? Also am i correct in saying that there will be no clearance problems with 285/50/20 tires with only 2 inch front drop? (Still used to the nbs trucks) All input is appreciated. Thanks!

Tires you'll be fine. spindles are good choice for the front. for the back I would get something that would make it easier to go lower in the future...which would be flip kit and hangers.

i have 4 6 and it's not low enough. I don't know what you use your truck for, but it you're not towing or hauling anything, go low.
check out my car domain page and you'll get an idea of a 4 6 is like. I'm running a 30.5'' tall tire

Thanks guys for the help. Just for reference, in regards to the other route, has anyone had experience with the Mcgaughy 2" drop leaf springs? How did they ride? Were they too soft or bouncy or like stock?
