Question drive shaft question

would a drive shaft from an extended cab short bed truck 2wd fit a crew cab truck with the super short bed 2wd?

my stock drive shaft finally blew out and i need to find another shaft asap so i plan on going to a u pull it or looking at local used auto part places tomorrow

I believe the wheel base is 143.5" for both crew and extended cabs, is that right? i also know that if its from a newer truck it will need to be a 4.8 truck to be sure it has the 4l60.

my truck is a 2008 crew cab 2wd

2007-2009 Extended cabs even with the 5.3 will have a 4L60e.

I believe only the top on the line crew cabs in 2009 got the first 6L80e's in them.

Also keep in mind the engine is further back in an nnbs vs an nbs, best thing to do would be to measure it and get one same length....
