Drag Radials & Slicks
#1
I'm about to order my Bogart wheels what is the absolute biggest radial and or slick I can put on the back of my 13 nnbs standard cab shortbox I'm trying to avoid narrowing the rearend but I do have a 4 link setup in the works right now to add some room.

biggest and proper are KEY words here
you want most contact patch for tire size which will require a wide wheel
biggest with 4 link would be 15x13 with a 315 radial this would be ideal
with leafs youre limited to 15x10 typically with 6.5 back spacing for clearance now but with 15x10 youre better off with a 295 radial for best contact

I tuck 315/60 radials with 7.25" backspace on a 10" wide wheel. I agree, the 295s (for MT) would be a better fit, but I don't think I'm losing anything by running the 315.
Dick Landy on here is running the 315s on his NNBS reg cab 15x10 cragars I believe and pulling the front tire. If you're truck is stock height, you shouldn't have any problems fitting a big radial. Things get hairy when you try and put a big tire in between the fender and leaf spring on a lowered setup.

Sorry should have been more clear on my wording basically what I want is the tire to tuck into my fenders and fill my wheel well I do understand the difference biggest and proper size thing my hp is between 800-1000+hp at the wheels should have thrown that in when I wrote the thread!

well at that power level you should consider a wheel that makes the most out of a size tire...
example the guys that run the 275 radials love to put them on 10" wheels and some 11" wheels...It makes the most patch you can while making the tire more stable
Now Foose runs a 15x11 bogart with 7.5 back spacing but he only has 1/4" clearance between his slick and leaf spring
If you are serious about going 4 link then look into something around 12-14" wide for wheel and look into bead locks, this way you can take full advantage of the suspension and tire room you now have gained
