No, I meant you can buy the panel with the hole in it, and the switch separately. Two different part numbers, one for the panel, one for the switch, instead of the "kit" where GM puts them together and charges you about $25 extra bucks.

Apparently the numbers have been superceded a couple times, looks like the latest numbers are on page 4. It may not be cheaper to purchase them separately now, but I know it saved me about $25 when I bought mine a couple years ago.

Newb chiming in. What is a DOD?? And why do I need a DOD delete to do the LS9 cam swap on my 6.2??

DOD (displacement on demand)-is the ability to shut of fuel and air to half your cylinders, effectively turning it into a 4 cylinder while under light load. While your 07 should not have DOD capability, it may have the DOD lifters. These lifters do not handle high lift, stiff valve springs or fast ramp rates well and could fail if not replaced. A full DOD delete should not be required though.

Stock. You have vvt in your 6.2 only 5.3's have the option for the terrible afm/dod option
