Talking Diablo tuned 2007 Silverado!

Got a 2007 Classic 5.3 ex cab 4x4, bought the predator programmer had the shop remove 100% tq management and abuse mode. Finally after 4 days of fine tuning it ive got all the setting exactly were they need to be. The shifts are firm and fast and it really takes off thru the shift. Ive uped the timing 15% and showing no knock at all. Its really helped the lowend (I can spin my tires now). Best of all there is alot of things thats on my new programmer that was not on the old one I had for my 2000. They really de tuned the classic 07 from the factory and my diablo really woke it up. Best of all installed a new tune only takes a min or so. Changing the tunes are easy and fast.

What all adjustments did you make? I just got a Predator for my 06 V-Max and would like some advice on what has worked well for you. Thanks!

I have 3.42 gears so the shift points were around 44mph 1-2, and 87 mph 2-3. Adding 400rpm extra.

Regular mode
1-2 shift -25% with +25% firm
2-3 shift -20% with +20% firm
4 shift -20% with 20% firm

Performance mode
1-2 shift -25% with +25% firm
2-3 shift -25% with +25% firm
4 shift -25% with +25% firm

I added 15% timing with is around 2-2.5* total extra and had not Knock and it runs great. BTW find a diablo tuner and have them remove all the TQ management and abuse mode!!! It feels great.

I ran a quad cab 2wd Hemi yesterday from a 50roll and he creeped on me up top but it took around 90+mph for him to do it.

If you want stuff for 3.73 knock off 2-3 mph on the shift point and start there. If the trans feels like its gliding thru then add a a mph or so and firm it up a bit.

At a GTG in the past Big Ed was playing with his Diablo on his 06 5.3. He would change something then we would hook my laptop up to his truck and read off what it changed with EFI Live.
Diablo seems to be one of the best hand helds.
