Mine cracked on drivers and passenger side. Chrome is peeling off the interior handles. Rebuilt read end about a less then a year ago. And according to my maintenance sheet the dealer replaced the transmission at 53000. I can't believe it. 35000 dollar truck made with junk. Is it because of the bail out?

I'll post a pic of my dads in the morning when I get home. It's small but in a noticeable spot. Don't think they went with cheaper parts just a weak stress area. It's only plastic anyways and with being in direct sunlight every day it's gonna get weak and crack. Dont think the bailouts have anything to do with it.

I didn't know what happened, just seemed like the nbs didn't have these problems. Fading paint, chrome peeling, aand dashs cracking. They did something differant for sure. We're any of the other cracks in 08 or 09 nnbs's?

Well I guess I lucked out. No cracking or fading and my truck was a panhandle Florida truck to Cape May, New jersey lived in south fl with that truck and sold it to white1 in Louisiana and as far as I know she still kicking around.
