Mine has a crack on passenger and driver's side. The paint is coming off the inside of the door handles too! The seats are a piece of ****...they just absorb lint and you cant clean them!

 

Have yall ever registered your complaints on the GM website? Years ago I bitched about the lifter tap in my '02, while it was still under warranty, and GM managed to get an area rep to the dealership that refused to fix it.

I'm sure that if enough of you pitch a bitch, there's a chance they'll get it taken care of. GM knows its money make are the trucks, why would thy F' up that relationship.

 

Nnbs trucks suck ... it sucks because I actually like the looks of the exterior but the interior is junk.

My dad has a 07 avy. Just cruising down the highway one day and I heard the dash pop and it cracked by the air bag . All the paint on the plastic pieces on the steering wheel areis about gone from normal use. This truck spends its life on the highway. Every exterior door handle has broken .

I'm sad GM went from a great truck like the nbs to the nnbs they really cheaped out on a lot of things with them.. you would expect a 50k dollar loaded out ltz truck to have some better materials

 

Yeah i agree with the seat and steering wheel. Luckily thats the only problems I have.

 

The only issues I had with my 07 was the Lint trap seats, small crack by the airbag on the dash, and the damn drivers side seatbelt would get locked in tight against my body all the time. I would have to undo the seatbelt and redo it all the time. Oh and the latch on the jump seat lid. But I was able to fix that with little cost to myself.

Never had any issues with the paint on the interior whatsoever. My truck had 110K miles on it when I traded her in and was right at 5 years old. I just hope my 2012 is as good as my 07 was.

 

I had my knee bolster cracked into 2, and yes I'm not that big. Stupid GM molding injection.

 

Do they not make some kind bondo/filler for an interior? I have 2 screw holes where the previous owner had a CB installed :/

 

The whole interior sucks, that's why I'm working on replacing all of it soon. Dash cracks, speakers suck and go in and out so replaced all of them, all the moldings are cheap plastic like the dash so they make cracking noises from time to time in my truck.

 

Could the guys with cracked dashes be using a certain chemical to clean them?

 

My dads 09 gmc ranch truck cracked in the exact same spot! Noticed it the other day.
