Cooling question?

They swapped to 34" in 05+ with efans.

Tune your truck to have the efans come on sooner. It'll help keep it cooler. Also a tru-cool 40k is around 145-150.00

There is a list of fittings and such for an fittings. Only issue with the 6L80e uses a "block" style transmission line to the transmission. You can spend the 70-80 on the block that uses AN fittings or use AN fittings to tubing fittings and cut your tubing up by the radiator or however you want to do it.

Most tuners recommend to not tow if you have a tune....

Some of the gains made while tuning are done by leaning out AFR. It will make your engine run hotter. Just something to think about.

Same results I get with HP Tuners on my truck. I have seen it creep over 200 on a few Test and Tune days but that is it.


I would be getting freaked out if the tranny went over 200. I have gotten into the low 180's a couple times after back to back to back pulls at the strip and that was really beating on it.

Tru Cool on the way!!! Planning on using my factory trans cooler for an oil cooler since GM forgot to put one on my vehicle...
