That looks really good. I'm trying to get a set but can't seem to find a decent pair. I have a crate engine so it will be a little easier for me to modify the covers. I also would like to build new brackets to center the coils more towards the center so the cover sits flush.

Centering the coils will help, I think that is what was done in the original photo. What are you putting the motor into?
I had to cut out the backs of them(against the firewall) and by the alternator on the driverside. then also had to cut the top corner for the tranny dipstick tube

Its going in my RCSB 07 Silverado. Its an LS376/480 but Im still trying to gather all the parts, like the Camaro oil cooler and am still trying to decide if to turbo or supercharge. I trying to get these manifolds for the turbo set up but this is a long term project.

What about heat and the coils? Think it would get to hot on a DD.

You have a good point maybe this wont be a good idea ,im going to see if they get real hot, I think i have enough space for air to flow underneath but maybe not

I would remove one side drive the **** out of it and see how the covered side gets compared to just the coils.

I think it would be fine for a hot rod etc... but not a DD.

But from looking at the pictures it may have enough room for some air to them.
