Default Called insurance today Supercharger

Called to get my mods insured and was told the supercharger is part of the motor so they dont cover it if in a loss. they were happy to up my insurance up a nother $50 for 6mo for my GM OEM 20" rims and headers.
They also have all my accessories included and they raised my premium. all GM OEM bed liner mudflaps rail caps running boards. Added like $150 to the 6 mo premium. im thinking sense I could have bought the truck off the lot like that it shouldnt cost more.

Most insurance companies will not insure performance mods , basically if whatever happens, you will get paid out the price of the vehicle. It's a joke but they have us by the *****. Soooooo

Are you insuring the mods against theft or damage?

just wanted them covered under the policy. I would think theft would be included. If my truck was stolen its covered. Basically everything on my truck is covered except my supercharger because they consider that a part. But for some reason headers are considered a accessories. I think its all BS to jack up my rate.

I'd actually be worried that they would try to jack my rates all around if I was to say it has xxxxx mods and what not..
