ok ordered a Boomba 3/8" check valve. Should I run 2 catch cans or just the 1 for boost?

I would only worry about the dirty side for now. Can always add a second later if needed.

I already ordered a 2nd can. I read on here that on boosted engines you need 2 because in boost the PVC system reverses. But then I was thinking if I have a check valve it cant boost the crank case right. so why would I need a 2nd can. I sent a email to elite about it and have tried calling all day but nothing back yet and they do not answer there phone. right to voice mail. Would be nice if I didnt need a 2nd can.

Yeah, you'd be pulling positive pressure on the clean side on blocked on the dirty. Can always add both and if the clean side doesn't accumulate anything sell it.

you can just run one catch can for both valve covers. No need for two of them, its just a waste of space.
