Default blue smoke

Guy from work was behind me and told me when I got on it he saw blue smoke. I noticed when I had my tb ported that it had oil on it and the SC and tube had oil in them. Im thinking it has to be coming from the breather on the valve cover. Do I need a catch can? is this normal?.

Ok, so this is normal with the 6.2's then? I've been getting a little worried and only have 1700 miles on mine.

Blue smoke means burning oil. Oil coming from the PCV system and being sucked into the intake is normal on just about every LS motor. A good quality catch can will solve your problems.

You should have a fresh air hose going from the intake tube to pass valve cover and a hose going from the drivers side valve cover to one of the nipples on the blower inlet. The catch can will connect to the hose that runs from the drivers side valve cover to the nipple on front of blower. Valve cover to catch can, catch can to blower nipple.
