Default Best way to wire in a 2-step?

I like the idea of wiring it into the brake pedal but I think it would be hard to do a burn out. Only a footbrake here. Any ideas?

i wired mine into the trailer brake wire (yellow wire at trailer plug) and hooked it up to a switch so the 2 step was only active when the switch was turned on!

Haha, thats what I just read online. Thats the way I will do mine also! One thing I noticed when I was just out test the two step was that when I had the truck in neutral and on the two-step it sounded like the typical two step (like a popcorn machine). When I had it in drive and on the two step I couldn't even tell if the two step was working or not. Its normal? I guess I was just expecting the typical two-step noise.

When I tested mine on the two step in neutral it made some pretty dam good 2 step noise (sounded like gun shots) in drive it was really quiet. I have a video I'll find and post of my truck on the 2 step in drive.

Edit-
