So I sold my 2011 CC truck with the 6.2 and waited a few months to buy another new truck 6.2 Ex Cab truck. This truck has 3.73 vs the CC 3.42. I took it out with just 1200 miles on it to the local track and with just a tune it ran 8.90's@78. The CEL was on for the cam faiser yada yada yada...

Fast forward: it's 2500 miles now, Ls9 cam and had the heads milled about 25 thousandths. I still have the stock manifolds, air box ect...heading out to the local 1/4 track this Saturday to see if any improvements were made since last outting.

 

I should have noted the CC truck went 13.20's with Ls9 cam, longtubes, cai and a tune.

2wd or 4x4? Tires and it was 3.42 rear end?

what tires were you on with the crew cab? what was your 60ft? I would imagine with my stall I could 60ft a little better than you and maybe cut a 13.00?
