Default ball joint replacement

got looking around on here couldnt find a thread, wondering if its possible to replace lower ball joints on these trucks without having to do control arms as well. gm sells control arm only local parts store seel the b/js seperate. labor guide/repair data says to put the control arms in. if it wasnt for a family member i wouldnt have any problem selling the control arms. thanks

You will need a special tool to press them in and out. Much easier to replace the arm complete.
