Yeah, I would really like to use the 149 because of the simplicity of it. A lot less to go wrong when it's setup like that I think, along with the fact I don't like the way the denali system uses the brakes for its awd setup.

I put a 4l80e and 149 into my 2008 2wd RCSB. I like the 149 because it is all mechanical. It works really well for me.

That was my original plan but now that I found out you can start getting the 6 speed trans in the rcsb, I would love to be able to use it.

Yeah, that's actually what steered me away from a tbss to a rcsb, the 6l80e.
