ahhh i see.

i was going back through some datalogs of various 6.2 trucks i have done. there are two that come to mind that would benefit from this. mine and another members on here. right about 5300 the air flow starts to slowly drop. i understand that as engine speed increases after peak torque/cylinder pressure the VE of the motor does drop. thats a given, but it shouldn't be dropping like it does. dyn cyl air and calc torque follow the same curve. without going into and overly complicated and boring who/what/when/where/why, i'll just stop there.

in short. the flow restriction of the manifold is starting to show up. look at others dyno charts from a cam only 6.2 setup. or heads and cam for that matter.

porting the stock is not a viable option. not enough material there to keep the strength of it.

if he doesn't take your stocker, i will

I ran 11.42 with a bigshot plate on the victor jr intake in an ext cab truck. I have a fast 4150 throttle body with it.

Seeing how horrible the fitment has been on from the other fast manifolds here lately I dont know that Id be that hip on doing a rain dance for another manifold from them.

it's more of an option than anything else. running big cams and heads on the stock intake manifold is similar to buying really expensive shoes to shove up your own ***.

take care of the problem before it becomes a problem.

I would love a good intake to come out that wasn't a 1000 dollars. The holley need longer runner. I may have to build me a intake.
