attn 6.2 owners
the more people dig into the motors, the more people will be doing heads and cam set ups, and more people will be limited by the intake manifold. some of us are already at the limit of the intake manifold with the stock heads. if you data log, watch your dyn cyl air, and what it does above 5300 rpms.
as of right now, it's just the holley high rise manifold for us truck owners, unless you want to change stuff on the front drive to run the lsxr for the square port heads. so im thinking, getting a mass e-mail and/or petition going to fast for them to release the lsxrt for the l92 heads. im sure someone will come in with "oh the holley is a better manifold and makes more power, blah blah blah" thats fine and dandy for those running above 6500 rpms. i prefer to have more than one option to base a choice off of. so lets get this thing rolling shall we! |
Go Hilborn. Just do it.

Tell me something I don't know lol I just plain DON'T like the holley intake IMO I sent 2 back they were recalls so ended up a different route

I think Magnacharger makes a nice looking intake manifold for the L92/LS3 heads too. :)
Guaranteed to fit properly. |
From my point of view the ports on the Maggie manifold look more like an inverted cathedral port, not a rectangle port.

If anyone don't want they're crummy L92 intake let me know, ill need one soon.
