I hated the ride, mileage and performance of ALL the 305/50/20's i've had, but they looked good.

Here are my 305/50/20 Nitto 420S Tires on BBS wheels

Previously, I had 305/50/20 on stock GM20's

Very nice BBS wheels, what is the model number?

How much did the wider tires hurt your gas mileage?

Thanks, i'm sure they're what caused my truck to be stolen. They're the BBS RW and i'm not sure they're made anymore.

I was getting 16-17mpg with 285's, I got 12mpg with 305's.

Yeah, they KILLED it and they rode like ****. They flat spotted REALLY bad. When they were warmed up they were fine though, but you could tell they were REALLY heavy.

Would a 305/35/20 would ride better? ...I have a baaad memory but I seem to recall installing 305/35/20 on my 2007 'classic' and they rode fine. I didn't check mileage because it was a company vehicle and they paid for the fuel ...
