Default Any regrets for your exhaust?

I'm looking into exhaust for my truck. Its a 07 Sierra Crew with a 5.3. I'm putting a MP112 and headers on it also. Are you all happy with your exhaust or do you wish you would have done something different. I dont want anything thats too loud. Also not sure yet which headers I'm going with. Most likely Pacesetters or American Racing. I would like to keep the cats. Recommendations?

I love the corsa sport system on my truck, v-max crew cab.

Just the right amount of rumble, no drone and barks when you lay into it.

Be warned that longtubes will usually make the exhaust note a bit louder. I installed some dynatechs on a blown 2007 yukon that had a GMPP(borla) sport system installed. It wasn't hideous but a few notches louder for sure.

I'd suggest the corsa touring and a set of american racing headers.

Tony

The pace setters with hooker aerochamber is always nice rumble to my ears.

Mine is loud but no regrets...
Headers are going to make it that way,
but like Tony said the Corsa touring might work.

I have spent hundreds of dollars trying to find what I liked, should have just spent the big money and bought the corsa and been done with it.

I started with the corsa sport, loved it, then put on a supercharger, and still loved it. When I got to the dynatech long tube headers, it got too loud for me. Here is a thread to read (the best one I found here for this compounded issue) http://www.performancetrucks.net/for...d.php?t=419290

Knowing what I do now, I probably would have started with the corsa touring.

Thanks for the info. How's your transmission holding up with the supercharger.

no problems yet, I put in the corvette servo when I did the transgo. The weather has me slipping a bit on launch, so I am just taking it easy for now. Come summer time I am looking at Toyo Proxes (305/50/20's in the rears and 275/55/20 in the front) on centerlines, and we will see how that helps me launch.

I suspect I will still have traction problems, since I cant find any truetrac or detroit lockers for my truck, and that may help save my tranny anyway.

hmmm, its like looking at the fuse .... wondering what you can do to have more fun, and knowing that it will speed up the fuse ..... until ..... BAM! And then you only have yourself to blame.

Got any pics of your truck for another post?
