Default Alternator whine though speakers 2007 Tahoe

I put the factroy Navi in my LTZ tahoe and now most of the time I have alternator whine though the speakers at low volume. Has anyone had any experience with this on these GMT 900 series trucks? I hooked everything up to the factory plugs. Thanks in advance.

Damm not once have I had it and Ive done a bunch of them. Does all the fade balance etc functions work correctly and sound correct overall. May try disconnecting the antennas one at a time and see if it goes away.

Put your oe head unit in if it goes away it's a defective unit I've had several DOA right out of the box.

Well I guess I will try that. Have read that it could be the alternator having a burned up diode. May see if i can find one and swap it around.

I have the same intermittent problem on my factory installed equipment. No nav but mine is coming through rear entertainment. I can turn rear power unit on and it goes away. So maybe you can try/check that.

Well if thats the case its prob a ground somewhere. I think I am going to start adding grounds to the head unit and amp and see if that does anything.

I had a Clarion deck in my truck, hated it and all the interface bull crap, so I swapped the stock HU back in with an isimple connect. After going over a set of railroad tracks today I suddenly have alternator whine too. NNBS wiring<NBS wiring.
