something is wrong there, check fluid level and filter, my 6 speed is always on 150- 160 and after some wot time it goes to 185-190 never more than that. I have a 40k truecool or whatever the name is. 6 speed uses dexron VI as mentioned before

it's a guess but i'll say yes, it's hurting the clutches which can clog parts. why didn't the shop that did all the work put the dexron VI? 2007+ transmissions require the new fluid.
also ive asked you a couple times about which dipstick and dipstick tube you are running. if you arent running the right dipstick and tube then you can have too little or way too much fluid.

I paid a shop to do a transmission flush an just changed my own filter that way its in their hands and its done right. 15gal is what it took to flush mine
Im glad that its not the dipstick being too short.
