Ya my plan is to just go for it and see how it is. I'll look into the steering column shifter off a 4l60 nnbs silverado if I want it to down shift. Can't seem to find a part number for 4l60 silverado shifter or seem to find anyone who's done it which seems odd. There's a lot of people with high hp nnbs and I doubt they all keep the 6l80. I'd love to do a manual valve body in the 4l80 but don't want a ratchet shifter coming out of the floor in my truck... Don't wanna hack it all up!
