Hi guys did a 4l80 conversion on my 2011 Silverado and I did the gate change to the 4-speed on the column so good to go there just have a question on swapping the dash.

I am trying to purchase a new 4 speed dash from a vendor and they wanted my VIN # (which is obviously 6 speed) to program the dash. He said he can make it work but wasn't sure of any problems I might run into.

is there anything that is going to give me trouble?

I just want it to all work like it came from the factory..
