A stroker kit with cast or hyperutectic would be less than forged,I would rather do that with the mild build I have im mind,would like to avoid the cold rattle of forged anyways

2wd, dont wanna answer that spent question lol when i hit my 12.97 @108mph it was down 4 days mods custom VVT cam, longtubes, CAI, exhaust, and removed tailgate spare tire and seats along with billet 18s on 305/45/18 NT05Rs ran a Denali with a maggie and out ran him his time was a 13.44 but the cam setup was about $3,500 or less

how long down once the FI toasted the motor?

well down time? it was down 2months because of work had to fly from Texas to Virginia for work but normally a week to 2 weeks down time

I'd never attempt to tow 10K with any 1/2 ton truck, I have another truck for that. I have towed frequently with my truck though, 3K to 7K loads are no problem at all. The converter doesn't even unlock in 4th on hills on the highway.
